Aronia' Low Scape Mound Chokeberry

 ℹ Mounding ground-cover. Masses of dainty, bright white blooms in mid-spring mature to edible dark purple fruit. Well-known as a Superfruit, tannin-rich Aronia berries do require a bit of sweetener to bring out their best taste. The high-antioxidant fruit is used in baking and to make jams, jellies, syrup, tea, juice and wine. Dark green, glossy foliage turns brilliant red in fall. Prune only after flowering when necessary. Tolerates hot or cold climates and wet or dry soils.
