Lonicera' Indigo Gem Honeyberry (Haskap)

ℹA seedling ‘accidentally’ found while collecting cuttings of Blue Velvet honeysuckle at the Cheyenne station. A great addition to the honeysuckle shrubs as it is resistant to the witches' broom aphid. Cheyenne Pink has bright pink flowers in spring. A large shrub that is great for privacy needs in any landscape with low to moderate water needs. Fast growing and most productive variety. Frost resistant pale yellow blooms in mid-spring. Flavourful fruit shows colour in late spring and matures uniformly in early summer. Pollinate with Aurora, Honey Bee or Polar Jewel Haskap. Harvest when flesh is red. Prefers moist, well-drained soil.
