Canada Post Strike
Official Statement Regarding Canada Post Strike
May 22, 2025
We wish to inform our valued customers that Canada Post will officially enter its second labor strike within the last six months, on May 23rd at 12:00 AM local time. While we remain optimistic about the preparations we have made to minimize disruptions, this situation continues to pose unique challenges for businesses across the country—especially those like ours that have previously relied on Canada Post to fulfill large-scale shipping contracts, rural deliveries, and P.O. Box destinations.
We have since adapted our systems and operations to diversify our carrier options in light of the instability of Canada's postal service at this time. Our team has made proactive adjustments in anticipation of this latest service disruption, and at this time, we are not announcing any major interruptions to our general shipping flow.
However, we want to be transparent. Certain orders may still be affected in cases where Canada Post remains the only viable shipping option—particularly for P.O. Boxes and select rural regions. Additionally, Canada Post strikes historically cause a ripple effect across alternative courier networks as volumes rapidly shift, occasionally resulting in network-wide delays beyond our control.
Despite these circumstances, our top priority remains the health and quality of our plants during transit. Our fulfillment team is working diligently to overcome these logistical barriers while ensuring our high shipping standards are maintained.
We understand the frustrations these recurring service disruptions have caused—especially occurring twice now during our peak shipping seasons. These challenges have been outside our control, but we want to acknowledge the burden it places not just on our operations, but also on our customers. We are sincerely grateful to those who have been affected and continue to support us with patience and understanding.
If you currently have only a P.O. Box on file, we kindly ask that you contact us to provide a physical address on the support chat so we can explore alternative carriers. Additionally, if you have questions about how your location may be affected by the ongoing Canada Post strike, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the support chat.
As always, we remain committed to fulfilling all orders efficiently, responsibly, and with care, while navigating challenges presented.
We thank you for your continued trust and look forward to serving you.
