ℹBlushingStar® is an incredible and cold hardy (Zone 4) new high-quality freestone peach! Blushingstar peach has creamy white colored crisp and juicy flesh with pink tinges! The beautiful flesh has an amazing sweet and peachy flavor and resists browning when sliced, perfect for fresh eating, canning and preserves! It is more acidic than most white peaches with a stronger peach flavor! The peach also smells amazing, with a beautiful floral scent to it.This variety provides prolific harvests of beautiful pink to red blushed medium sized fruit that keeps very well! One of our heaviest bearers, and showing superior disease-resistance to bacterial spot. Introduced circa 1996. Ripens in mid August. Cold tolerant and reliable, producing large crops of high quality fruit, Blushing Star is a must have for home and commercial orchards!  Self pollinating but planting with another peach will increase fruit size and production.
