Product Overview

Victoria Rhubarb is a time tested heirloom known for its strong performance, extended harvest season, and attractive stalk colour. The vigorous plants develop into substantial upright clumps approximately two to three feet in height and spread, producing thick, tender stalks that blend green at the base into soft pink and red tones higher up. Its flavour strikes a pleasant balance between bright tartness and gentle natural sweetness, making it an excellent choice for pies, crisps, preserves, and everyday baking. This cold hardy perennial establishes readily in the garden and may be harvested lightly in its first year, with heavier production beginning in the second season. For best results, grow in full sun to partial shade in fertile, well drained soil, keep moisture consistent, and divide established crowns every few years to sustain productivity.
