ℹAn amazing edible perennial, Agastache 'Blue Fortune' Hyssop, recipient of the prestigious award of garden merit of the royal horticultural society, and a long-blooming selection, featuring wands of dusky violet-blue flowers. Forms a compact bush of licorice scented green leaves. Both the flowers and leaves are edible and fun to sprinkle into salads. Attracts droves of hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. Removing faded blooms will help to lengthen the flowering time which extends until fall. Especially attractive in combination with Rudbeckia or Purple Coneflower. This is a hybrid between a native North American wildflower and Agastache rugosa, so this could be a good choice for natural meadow gardens as well. Easily divided in spring.
