The Lynnwood Gold flowers in late winter to early spring even before its dark green leaves appear. As the flowers come to an end the dense, deep green foliage hold your interest! Forsythia is easy to grow and it is drought, deer, pollution, and salt tolerant. It rarely has problems with pests and diseases and it is adaptable to any soil. Fertilize once per year in spring to promote the brightest colored flowers. Prune after blooming is over to control size and shape. Flowers bloom on old wood.
