Fragrant, shiny, evergreen foliage accenting white, bell-shaped flowers in mid-spring mature to fragrant red, edible berries. Green foliage turns red to bronze colour in the winter. Prefers moist, well-drained sandy-peat soil in a partially shaded site. Drought tolerant once established. Excellent native ground-cover. Self Pollinating.
