ℹ️ Leontopodium alpinum is nothing less than the mythic EDELWEISS that grows in the Alps. Once endangered after it caught massive popularity from a popular musical, the Edelweiss knows a rebirth with this new introduction. Blossom of Snow Edelweiss unlike the native species, blooms twice a year; in summer and in the fall! Blossom of Snow features silver foliage with large and totally unique white star-shaped flowers! The rather long flowers (up to 16" tall) makes them very suitable for cut flowers and dried flower winter arrangements. This easy to grow perennials thrives best in dry, well drained soil and full sun exposure. The rare and once almost extinct Leontopodium alpinum 'Blossom of Snow' is an excellent choice for sandy soil, rock gardens, borders and containers. This rare perennial requires very little maintenance.
