The African Queen Trumpet Lily, or Lilium 'African Queen', is a striking trumpet lily known for its large, outward-facing blooms in warm golden-orange hues with soft purple flush on the outer sides of the petals, creating a dramatic contrast. Highly fragrant, its sweet scent fills the air, especially in the evening. Blooming in mid-to-late summer, it extends the flowering season and grows tall, reaching 4 to 6 feet, making it ideal for the back of flower beds or as a focal point in the landscape. Thriving in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade, it’s also an excellent cut flower, adding beauty and fragrance indoors.
